  • As discussed under the other picture, it could be old Tuareg style or Peul and mixed with Mauritanian. The triangles show Tuareg design, the knobs are not Tuareg in Mali, but often Mauritanian influences Malian pieces. the knobs could be of Mauritanian influence (if it is from Mali), not to forget that Mali shares a border to Mauritania and styles are often mixed along this line. Further some ancient Moroccon influence is still seen today in the area of TImbuktu.
