  • Hello Achmad, nice old  "digg". I think the ornaments that are hanging from the loops at the bottom of the necklace do not belong there. They are the end parts of a head decoration. Sometimes they are made with silver chains, sometimes with just threads of wool. They are fastened above the ears in the headdress and the chains hang below the chin. See pictures below. I suppose the red beads are a replacement of the old red beads made of coral.

Thanks so much. Some of them they. Had ornments which it has i saw many of them like which i has. Could you see them the book. Oman adonre thanks
  • Thanks herald for the clarification, totally agree with you They used to remove the two corals and the gold center piece to sell. And replace it with copper and red stone. I bought one similar and i have restore it in muscat. There is one great silver smith to do such things. This process takes few hours to do and many steps to follow carefully , not to break the main core. All the best
It is good yu still have the gold center piece, both ornaments and the corals will cost around 300 $
