This is great, Ann. Has it been woven specially into the shape of a hat? I love the way the different coins are attached round the sides and the shower of pendants from the crest.
Hi Thelma, yes its been woven especially as a hat. Isn't it gorgeous, I love it, and every time I pass by I admire it. Its wonderful how simple things and beautiful old silver gives us pleasure, isn't it?
Are you still enjoying your framed Afghan silver?
Yes, great pleasure. But the photo is also beautiful... the way in which you have placed the hat against the hanging and on the Kuba cloth .. great colours and textures.
Thanks Akkie........it is old, it is very dirty inside......would love to wash it.
