Old gold and silver Omani box

A lovely gold on silver quran holder with verses engraved on the backside. Locket still fully functional. The technique is reminescent of Omani work but the box has more subtle, more exotic feel to it as if it is coming from somewhere else. India ? Zanzibar ? Possibly very old. Any insights are very much welcome. Thanx !
