This is lovely. Is it like toucoleur work? Is it gold on silver or low carat gold?

Definetely senegalese, but i am hesitant to label it toucouleur, possibly more old urban style.

I don't have means to know if its gold on silver or some sort of gold and silver alloy! i need to go to a jewel shop to have it tested!

beautiful and interesting piece. Is this a whole necklace or part of a necklace, it looks almost like a necklace for someone with a high function like they wear in Ghana!

Now I remember what these are called or du pays. I think there is a description inf Africa Adorned.
