This is something I do love, what a beauty!
I liked the granulation on it and it's primitive quality. So much of the gold jewelry that is highlighted in books are mostly Moghul style pieces and fancy things that are worn by the upper classes. But there is a huge body of gold jewelry worn in the villages that is really quite wonderful and not alot of time is spent on that stuff. I actually prefer it as it has so much more personal used quality to it.
