  • Yes, this particular one is indeed from North India. Oddly, a very similar form also occurs among the Miao, which is frequently confused with this one, but generally made of less good silver, and a bit more "rigid" in shape. The Miao shape is also good, and a perfectly acceptable article, but should generally cost a bit less.
  • The choker comes from Kutch (Gujarat) and its name is dailah.
