One can take them off? What are they made of? Silver ? They have nice headpieces. Is there any special meaning about using skulls ?
Eva, I think skulls are just to remind us of our mortality, to remind us always to lead a blameless life.
But maybe someone will tell us differently.
Most Nepalese/ Tibet items are made of low grade silver or " tibet silver "/ alpaca/ German silver, which is an alloy of some kind.
These are interesting and unusual in design.
@Thanks for the information.
