  • nice necklace and combination. are the beads bronze from north nigeria ?

  • Actually!  The big beads are wood painted with copper in suspension and then highlighted with a patina solution.  The blue beads are made from recycled glass and come from west Africa, probably Nigeria.  The brass rings are repurposed from a not too pretty necklace I bought at the local thrift store.  The round metal beads are African brass that I bought from a vendor at a local bead and gem show.
