AA very interesting piece, I like the coral talismans and the spiky beads, Peter. Do you have any idea about its age?
Fantastic. This piece has seen a lot. I wonder if that cord isn.t more looped than braided? Have a good look Charlotte.
With regards to the cord, please note that you can find quite different ones and I assume that it depends very much on the persons, who were involved in the manufacturing of this necklace/cord. I can post tomorrow a photo of another necklace, which has a much finer and more intricate cord. With kind regards. Peter
this is really impressive, one can see that Age Plays a big role. Love it.
Such a wonderful sense of age in this piece. A history lesson.
Oops Charlotte, I have cleaned it already... (this photo was taken before the cleaning). However, I am just cleaning off the dirt and dust from my pieces and you would be surprised what you can find underneath... so, the patina is still there and the piece is luxuriously glowing - the Omani silver is magnificent! With kind regards. Peter
Totally lush!
Have you changed your hunting ground, Peter?
