  • This is certainly bold! Is the pendant a hirz or plaque, I wonder? Either way, it is a very attractive piece, Peter.

  • Dear Betty; It is a hirz and the necklace is quite heavy. This is a very nice piece indeed. Also, the smaller chain has been added later, in order to wear it as a necklace. Originally, the larger upper rings were fastened on the headset. With kind regards. Peter

  • Very beautiful, elegant and solid.  If it is heavy it must have been uncomfortable to wear, everything for the sake of beauty. I also like the way you made the photo, it definitely enhances the warm glow.

    Thank you Peter, Gr. Ingrid.

  • Dear Ingrid; Many thanks for your message. Yes, it is rather heavy. However, it was fastened to an elaborate headpiece and not on the ears directly. I have an earrings set from Oman, which is 1.28kg but this was also worn with supports over the head. The earring set posted earlier is also around 1kg. With kind regards. Peter
