  • Dear Angelo; You are right. Being on site has definitely its advantages. However, it is not always easy to be away from home. I am missing my silver collection here in Saudi Arabia! There are a few shops which have some nice jewelry, however, these are scarce. I have seen a stunning Saudi veil and a Yemeni silver belt with dagger. However, both are very expensive.... With kind regards. Peter

  • This is splendid, Peter. The two pendants look like earrings. Is it possible that the piece originally was suspended from the earrings and worn under the chin? It looks very like the earring necklaces that come from Sur.

  • Dear Thelma; Many thanks for your message. As mentioned above, it is exactly what you say. The necklace was worn under the chin, fastened to the headgear where also the matching earrings were fastened to. With kind regards. Peter
  • Peter, I always enjoy your Oman collection best, here again a stunning piece, thanks for showing!
