I actually saw a ring similar to this one in the Berber Museum in Marakesh, so these rings with dangles were actually worn ( and may still be worn)
Oh, and by the way, Preethi, wish I were joining you in September, I would love to travel with you again and I always have a mile long list

The extra bonus to this piece is the red enamel dots. ( I can just see, the next time I go to Morocco, every piece of jewelry is going to be covered with red enamel dots -- that will really give me a feeling of self - importance!)
