Mystery mother of pearl fragment - 3 magi

These fragments were in the possession of my husbands late aunt who left Russia as a young girl in the 1920s.   • judging by the size, it could well have made part of some jewellery. It Looks like the 3 holy kings, at the time of the birth Jesus. Perhaps it was once framed and used as a pendant ?  Russia has, by the way, the most beautiful Icons I have ever seen. (e.g. Russian church in Nice, France).
