Silver bracelet consisting of geometric multi-sided spikes, each side delicately chased. Chain applied around each rim of the bracelet. Closes with a screw with a floral granulation. From Indonesia.

  • I found this bracelet with the same shape, but different engraving / repousse.  ID'ed as Sulawesi from Indonesia.  From Monika Ettlin's pinterest boards.

  • Hi Lynn, yes, Indonesian, but I don't know if it's typical to an area of the country. Bracelets with triangular motifs are seen in various parts of southeast Asia, with some regional variation. Here's a similar bracelet in gold, from Anne Richter's Jewelry of Southeast Asia.
