Good luck moving house Sarah x
So happy that you are selling for Amir, he is a fine and honorable person and this will make his life much easier ( as well as delight many of the visitors to this site!)
To all of those who have contacted me requesting more details of this piece including the price....
Having spent the day packing the office, all of my notes regarding this piece and the other stunning delights from Amir are now packed! I am sorry to be such a terrible tease, but will have to ask for your patience for a week or so while all of the treasures are carefully moved and unpacked.
I shall get all of the pieces and their prices published ASAP.
Warmest wishes

I continue to believe that the description of this as Multan is wrong, and have given extensive reasons why. However, in any case it is very nice, and that is what matters the most. Particularly, I like the silver work round the front in this case. It would be a good piece even without any enamel (an important consideration), but the enamel, even if worn, does lend interest. And I am, like others, very glad, Sarah, that you will be selling pieces for Amir directly in the UK. As the market is still predominantly in the West, this will make matters much easier both for Amir and for most of his buyers. A good example of international liaison!! And it is a pleasure to see this piece. I am definitely a potential buyer in this case and made that instantly plain when I saw it. I hope to "get lucky"!
