Moti bugudi

Bugudi are worn at the top of the ear. This pair is from Karnataka, India.Only married women were allowed to wear Moti (pearl) bugudi. In former times, these were also only allowed to Brahmins.The hook is not original, but I had it fixed to make this wearable. It's not welded on to the plug but just coiled and glued, and can be easily removed without damaging the original piece.2.5 cm long.
