Thanks to Sarah!
We visited Barbie Cambell Cole and John Gillow’s buying exhibition of textiles and ethnic jewellery from Africa and Asia on Friday may 31th in London.
I bought from Barbie these nice amazonite beads and a lovely old niello Moroccan pendant.
Warmest wishes, Johanne
The pendant is really pretty and I love those amazonite beads!

My goodness, how I wish I could have attended that exhibition seeing these results. Fabulous amazonite and hard to find in this quality
fabulous!
Thanks everybody for your nice comments!
I'm very happy with the amazonite beads. It has one of my favorite colours. I did not find a similar string of beads in other shops and markets (Portobello road, Covent garden) during the short time I visited London recently.
It was special to meet John Gillow, I bought his interesting book; " Textiles of the Islamic World" in the Victoria & Albert museum- shop.
