  • Faux Berber amber with Jewish granulation silver pendants from Essaouria, antique silver coral ring from Afghanistan.  Fibula silver box ending.  Old enamel beads.

  • What a treasure!  Love it.

  • i love it how the ring and the fibula chain bow make it look assymetrical.

Lovely composition; seems that all the moroccan treasures are turning into to some delightful jewels when artistically put together

  • A wearable work of art! I love the addition of the old ring.

  • beautiful necklace, well done, love all the pendants very much!

  • Nice work lovely lady x
  • Thanks for the profile Sarah - I have worn this necklace a few times and friends are amazed at the beads that (a) are handmade in Morocco and (b) at the silver that is made there still.

I was asked where the silver mines are ........can someone let me know, as I have no idea.

  • The biggest silver mine is in the village of IMITER to the east of ouarzazate
  • Thanks for that information Ayis - now I can tell people!

  • Wonderful! Like a number of others here, I too love the inclusion of the ring - very unexpected.
