Faux Berber amber with Jewish granulation silver pendants from Essaouria, antique silver coral ring from Afghanistan. Fibula silver box ending. Old enamel beads.

i love it how the ring and the fibula chain bow make it look assymetrical.

Lovely composition; seems that all the moroccan treasures are turning into to some delightful jewels when artistically put together

Thanks for the profile Sarah - I have worn this necklace a few times and friends are amazed at the beads that (a) are handmade in Morocco and (b) at the silver that is made there still.

I was asked where the silver mines are ........can someone let me know, as I have no idea.

The biggest silver mine is in the village of IMITER to the east of ouarzazate
