  These are all stunning -  I love the pair in the middle but I am also very partial to the birds

  I've seen some similar pieces on a recent trip through the Caucasus region (though unfortunately I didn't go to Dagestan). What I have only seen in books so far is the pair on top with the three beads. Thanks a lot for posting these, silver lover!

  Thank you all for your comments, I think you are correct Linda about the origins of these pieces. Betty did mention that on her post. I myself know little about the region but can resist the temptation of niello and coral wherever they come from. Looking forward to see your pair Peter, br
