  • beautiful! this really enthuses me, as  I collect hairpins and combs, but mainly African. However, I have been living in Thailand a long time ago, and one of my daughters received hill tribe clothes as a baby (these black tissue clothes with coloured wooden embroideries), and was wearing them with small silver bangles, all hilltribe style I do not remember whether Miao or Yao or even others. There are even more hilltribe groups in the north of Thailand - in the region of Chieng Rai.  This comb is just adorable and reminds me a lot of my life in Thailand, long long ago. When I have more time, I must try to find the photos of my daughter as a baby in the hilltribe costumes.
