Yes, I agree, howah - nothing wrong with their being alpaca (the German word) or "paktong" (which I personally prefer!). It is a perfectly traditional and useable alloy - a good Chinese invention. And you are also wright to state that there has been a rapid decline in recent years, in manufacture/design (both, really, I feel).
