Wow. Never seen so many of these together! Gorgeous!
just fantastic. are some of them gilded ??
Hi Ait,
yes four of the beads appear to have guilding inlateral stripes to each side.
gorgeous beads!!
lovely beads!
These were in serious demand during the bead and Jewel tour last week, I think we may have cleared MOrocco of them between us. this strand was certainly an unexpected arrival!
Not the first man to run up to you Sarah with a "find" - the whole of Marrakech must know about these much wanted beads.
I`ve just had to check my own arab el fadda beads for gilding traces.... but no, I`m pretty sure mine never had any.
Sarah and Ann, you already know how daft I am about these beads......!!!!!
In my opinion, the small ones are the most recent, and show less wear, and are less fine work. the large ones with the gilding are older, and beautifully made the three pendants are of antique age with amazing workmanship. there are four however which have such ancient intricate work that they are in my opinion sublime!

@ ann, I think that the whole city knew we were keen to find them!
I also think that we possibly bought them all between us!
