The interesting thing about this cuff is you can see a star when held in a certain way made with the losenge and the lines. I wonder where it comes from?
Perhaps its vintage colonial too?
Or Indian! The flowers along the edges look suspiciously Indian..
This looks like more North African colonial period work to me. Algeria, perhaps?
Yes, it feels sort of colonial.
I see it colonial too, northafrica is in my eyes unsure
It is definetly a masonic piece worn with some uniform or from the members
Perhaps the half hidden six pointed star speaks of the Algerian resistance to the French. It seems to use traditional motifs but in a strange way..
six points star has nothing to do with the Algerian resistance
it is definetly a masonic piece with ,for me, a surprising number and position of the symbols
Thanks so much Ait
Perhaps its Turkish?
