This is a lovely pendant, Lynn .. so well preserved. Have you explored the symbolism of the shape and of the colours of the glass stones?
Thank you so much Sami and Thelma. Sami, yes it is a beautiful old Russian coin. I think the pendant is probably from Palestine or Syria. Thelma, I have not delved deeply into the symbolism. I assume the triangle shape is for the female divine, and the flowers are fertility and also perhaps the circles eyes to deflect the evil eye. There is a lot of very interesting symbolism in jewelry from the Levant.
