Beautiful and the luckiest of ladies -- I know that they loved the tour!
The lady on the far right looks very familiar to me -- I don't know why. Could you tell me her name?
The lady on the right is the beautiful Frankie x
I thought it might be Frankie, and yet, I don't think I have ever seen Frankie. Maybe there is some sort of spiritual jewelry connection there.
All the ladies look so happy and content. I have to find a way to go on one of these trips!
Toya, you would love this trip! I hope that you and I can go together someday, we'll probably be fighting the whole time over the same things ! ( not really, there's an abundance of wonderful jewels, but our tastes are the same) And you would love to meet the dealers and the great people at the ryad.
Hey Patti-It would be great fun! I'm sure we could agree to share. It is interesting when two people have similar visual taste. I like all the textiles you have in the background of some of your photos too. Pretty cool.
Aaaaaw, Sarah - you`re not so bad yourself!
Patti, I`m sure we`re going to meet up some day.
We had a truly remarkable time. It was a great experience meeting everyone, fellow group members and traders alike. There is NOwhere else you will obtain the knowledge delivered in such an interesting enthusiastic manner and have such HUGE fun at the same time.
The photo was taken after a farewell party in the riad which had included superb food cooked and presented by the lovely and diligent staff. We had also been treated to the most joyous bellydance performance I have ever seen.
I feel enormous gratitude to Sarah for making it all happen!
I know how you feel, you have to take the tour to believe what a fabulous time you can have. I have been on almost every tour Sarah has given and I really can't get enough of them. Glad yours was just as nice and your traveling companions look like great ladies. No matter what kind of ethnic jewels you collect, it is all there for you in Marakesh, and traveling outside the city is also a wonderful experience what with the beautiful people that you meet and see in other cities. No words describe it.
