Yes, I agree with everything you say here. This is an excellent example, as is ours, shown in *Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment* (and posted on Facebook); the modern ones are not unattractive, but quite "empty" by comparison. We have shown one such on Facebook as well, for comparison. Truus is very fond of yours and ours - it is one of her favourite pieces of jewellery, and one of mine too.
