  • An EXCELLENT and most interesting piece!
  •  so far the only one I have seen like it. This pained me to sell it but alas it was a bit small for my waist so I couldn't use the excuse of wearing it , had to let it go!
  • It's a glorious piece, and of excellent quality and character. Fully museum quality. Yes, it is a pity you could not keep that ... But, unfortunately, if you deal in the stuff you can't have it both ways. Hope it went to "a good home".
  • I don't remember who got this actually. The collection I had wanted to buy it didn't since that client for some reason doesn't like belts. It's a shame since Kazakh belts are just so rare. Belts in any culture are so important.

  • You are right. It seems that many people don't "take" to belts, and it is bizarre, for they are often, as in this case, very beautiful, and as you say important in the culture. This has enormous integrity and great taste, and is a very, very good piece, I feel.
