A rare jewish Khamsa with a bird depicted on the thumb of the piece. great wear and patina c 1880 second khamsa is a newer addition! length overall 15.2 cm width 5.5 cm £195

    Sarah-The small khamsa in this set is very similar to one of your newly acquired and recently posted small khamsas. Very interesting design.

    Very beautifully patinated big khamsa. i think these were used as part of the hanging system of oil lamps inside synagogs. a big feature of moroccan judaism material culture
