  • Could anybody advise me on this it has been just offered for me for sale as well as the other two pieces

  • I think it's Saudi; will check later when I can get to my books. I have one like it but not as good as the one you're showing. Mine is metal, not silver, the ends are open and the "coral" is plastic. I'll post it, maybe tomorrow .

  • Thanks I would appreciate it! This is high quality silver and the silvershop who offered it to me said he thought is is from Jemen. The piece feels lovely smooth and well worn!!

  • Hi Carry - The book "Traditional Crafts of Saudi Arabia" shows a pairs of similar bracelets, from Najran, Saudi Arabia, made before 1920. Najran is in the southwest, near the Yemen border. Najran was actually part of Yemen until 1934. I will post some images of my less-precious version of the bracelet so you can compare the quality.

  • What a lovely information about the bracelet I am going to purchase this one for sure!
The tall one from Sudan I am not sure about I feel it has been dipped in Silver because normally the percentage of siver is not that high! And it is very white! Thanks again! Itmis nice to know the history of a piece!
  • Good luck with your purchases! It looks very good!

  • Saudi Arabia, but a lot of people said so already. Nice piece, be sure it is silver a lot of these bracelets are made of white metal.  But when it is cheap it does not matter. I made this mistake before in buying silver.
