but these should come fom anywhere from egypt, the african horn and even down swahili coast
I purchased the pendant in Tanzania - just outside of Arusha..
These kind of pendants are part of a Jnad=necklace. A Njad has three of those pendants + several square ones on a silver chain. They are from Saudi Arabia or Yemen. These very long and big necklaces are worn like a bandolier under the left arm.
