Dear Betty, Here some antique crosses to show how large the upper part of hinged crosses can be. This is what `i can find for the moment. GR.
very nice Ingrid. I`m always happy to see your pictures! These upper parts of hinged crosses make them very attractive.
Thank you Eva, Sometimes the upper part and the above parts get separated and start living their own lives. Which is great as well, because both parts are according to the church designs. But this is to show how they were original meant to be. Gr. Ingrid.
Thank you very much, Ingrid! Yes, these also look quite large. I have no doubt that mine is such a left-over top part of a hinged cross, though it is beautiful enough on its own :) Warmly, Betty
