Wow! you really still surprise me! I have never seen an Ethiopian necklace with the coins like this!
this is very nice, I love it!
I agree Eva, this is an unusual combination. I see various coins, not all of them seem to be Ethiopian, I think?
The domed pendant is also very striking. I have never seen something like it before.
Like Betty, I also like the dome pendant, somehow it reminds me of the Ethiopian "umbrella-hairpins". the coins seem to be diferent ones, are they all Ethiopian ? (I particularly wonder about the one with the woman's portrait at right from the pendant). Just want to mention, it made me dig out some coin pendants I bought long ago, at the bottom of my huge box (I put them on an African string and am wearing them now again...!!!!) But those (the one I bought years ago) are Indian half rupees with the portrait of king George on it, good silver it seems)
Dear Eva and Betty, Here my explanation of this necklace. I had done that earlier but must have forgotten to press "save". Any way here it is. hope this explain your question marks. Gr. Ingrid.
thank you Ingrid! Nice to know!
