Great collection Ingrid …congrats…..i want them all !!!
Kisses
Angelo
Thank you Angelo. I love and admire my collections of Ethiopia. Some are so beautiful refined. And if they are done in silver (my favorite material) than it is top. I used to choose on that criteria really. It always made me sad when I saw a beautiful piece and it had more nickel than silver in it. I hate the smell and it doesn.t have the black glow as good silver. But this all collectors know. Gr. Ingrid
I can only echo Angelo: that is one great collection you have there! The ones in the backrow look slightly different, but they are all stunning.
Thank you Betty, you know now that I come to think about it most of the rings in Ethiopia are from Harrar,,Jimma or the RashAida's . And there are some smaller ones of a later period from Tigrai and the wedding rings from Tigrai or Wollo. Gr. Ingrid.
I love these knobby and softly worn silver rings. Fantastic pieces in your collection.
Thank you Lynn, a couple of them are also enormous. Makes good defending weapons and of course, lovely statement rings to keep conversations going never a boring moment. Gr.Ingrid
At last, I am also writing something...! Wonderful rings, I love them all!
Thanks for your appreciation as always Eva. Thank you. Gr. Ingrid
