This to show the refined work of file grain and balance. Good silver, top two are choker telsums,sewn onto a leather or cotton band with loads of tiny silver Jimma beads and the telsum as a center piece. Harrar fashion.The bottom two are just beauties and the left one the only one ever seen by me. Gondar piece.

    The one which you say is unique, is as lovely as it is unusual - like a combination of two small round and one triangular telsum.

    I have a similar style piece as the top left one - unfortunately with some granules missing. Really love the piece next to it which is covered in minute granules. 

  • Thank you Betty, I  remember your show of similar telsums. Some of them do have a double bail, not quire sure why.  You know Gondar does have  some beautiful crafted pieces.
