  • These are lovely,  Ingrid. I would love to have a meditation stick topped by one of these :)) But isn't the one with bells rather noisy in church? I can imagine how it must sound in the silence ... with great delight.

  • Thelma, thank you , the stick would only make noise when walking, because when leaning on it the hands will be on the bells.  On top of it, Coptic churches are rather lively, always chantings going on, also the priests with his helpers going around the church center (where the commandments are kept) with in the center  a  walled  in or carpeted . The walk aound with their incense burned, which also have their bells, and moved with their wrists to move the bells dancing(slowly stepping) around to make a cross and this on 4 places of the walk.  So you can imagine, there is never an absolute stillness, just chanting and a warm feeling.  Gr.
