Hi all, - I have been asked by a bona fide poster and collector to identify these two pieces, but, although I could have a stab at it, I feel sufficiently uncertain to ask anyone who cares to do so to tell me what these are. I have seen similar things, but just cannot remember what they are! Any help greatly appreciated, with thanks!

  • Libya  for the one in the background

And am leaning towards Tunisia for the Deblij style anklet..

  • The one the background I agree with Sarah it is a  'Libyan Cuff' locally called  '  suar mneffel' . I am not familiar with the one in front but it does look like an anklet as Sarah has indicated.

  • Great! Thanks very much, Sarah and Mustafa. That will be very helpful to my correspondent. I could certainly not identify the one in the foreground, and the one in the background did seem North African to me, but I did not think of Tunisia - which would be the most logical choice even through elimination! Again, thanks greatly! Also for the speed! Most impressive.
