... when I saw it I thought it had more of a Balkan feel...looks so much like your wonderful Bulgarian belt buckles. But I am afraid I cannot help either.
Dear Betty; I actually got this beauty from Bulgaria. However, the seller was not very knowledgeable about it and it is certainly not common in Bulgaria. Due to this and the fact that it features many stamps, I have allocated it to Russia. However, it could very well been made in Russia and then used in Bulgaria... With kind regards. Peter
