  • Dear Peter, this is very special. I wasn't able to see the beads at first - until I used the Full Size button. Are all the Rashaida head covers embroidered in beads...not just stitches as in other embroidery?  Very beautiful.

They use also glass beads, weavings, shells, etc.. I have a very old child head cover, a true museum piece, which is beautifully embroidered with silver beads, featuring however also crosses at the back, which have been filled with silver and gold mesh - very unusual. With kind regards. Peter
  • Dear Peter, what a great find. I love your Rashaida collection and this one is a most wonderful addition. Congratulations! Best wishes, Betty
