Peter,What are the yellow beads could it be amber? Actually I am quite surprised how basic the band is like the previous one really as primitive as African happenings.
Dear Ingrid: Many thanks for your message. The off-white beads are mother of pearl pieces. The band is very very old - some sort of velvety type but has definitely seen better days... With kind regards. Peter
That is what I had in mind Peter, like most of the Balkan countries, colorful with their embroideries and head ornaments., even their dances are full of spirit. But I think their dresses itself a lot of solid colors like black and red. Nice you mentioned these facts, because I do believe the outfits are part of the ethnic jewels live, like how they come about. Gr. Ingrid
