hallmarks casablanca and mystery

The rams head has no "m" or "f" so I think it is from Casablanca. The 18 has to do with the date, possibly 1918 or 1337? I can't make out the partial mark on the right, would appreciate any thoughts you have.

  • Your bracelets are abviously older than what you thought.

Sometimes it ie very difficult to see the letter accompanying the ram's head, but the bracelet's style clearly is from central eastern morocco (around TAZA, and eastern middle atlas and eastern rif)

These were produced in fes , the "latour de fes" hallmark is here to proove it and wheenver there is only a partial date date we assume that the islamic calendar was used

    18 > 1318  >>>  1900

  • Thank you so much Ayis. The 18 had puzzled me. I didn't know how partial dates are read; very good to know. I thought the other hallmark might be "latour de fes" but wasn't sure. Your clarification is much appreciated!
