  • lovely, they have got an antique feel to them

do you wear your hairpins eva ?

  • @Thank you Ayis. Sometimes I wear them (normally only when it is hot and I put up my hair, because with open hair one can lose them too easily. ........ there was a time when I lost quite a number of items a few years ago (not hairpins but pendants and necklaces (Tuareg pieces). Inspite of trying hard to get them again, I had no success. Someone must be happy with them. So I am perhaps over-anxious about losing any, that is my big problem. I wonder do people who wear their pieces a lot lose them too? It is strange, I never lost bracelets or cuffs. But pendants, necklaces and hairpins seem to be an object easily to lose (by me)

  • Lovely, Eva. Your collection is growing! Will be interested to see the additions over the next few months!

  • @Thanks Thelma!  Hope to find some book on Ethiopian pieces ....

  • Me too (about the books). I can smell the rose from here. Another fantastic photo. Hope your "buyer" who goes to Ethiopian will bring back some more small treasures.....cant wait.

  • @Thank you Chantal, hope so too! Have found several books on Ethiopia, but not on Jewellery yet.
