  • A very beautiful piece, Linda. If we were in a buying period - which we are not - I'd be very keen to own this. And I think Truus would be too. Although we do have some things that are similar, this would still be different enough to tempt us.

  • When you post a thing like this, is the implication that it is for sale, or is it part of the pieces you are keeping??

  • When it says inventory for sale, it's for sale.  This was in my own collection.

  • The trouble is that one looks at the image first, then at the description below it. True, now that I look again I see that the Tags note "for, inventory, sale". If I were you, I would in each instance when the object is for sale say so as part of the description. That would be far more effective in making people immediately AWARE that it is for sale. Someone should certainly buy this.

  • Hi I always thought it was very evident and never realized that it was not noticed. Maybe that's why people normaly don't ask about the items !   I don't think many on this sight collect Mongolian which is a shame. I'm going to list things on the vivid sight as well hit my regular clients that come to my shows.

  • Well, Linda ... since you are trying to SELL this piece I would make no bones about the fact, and put after the description, in capitals: FOR SALE. That way people can't miss it, and there is no reason for coyness. You could not possibly be rebuked for being too commercial, as (a) your piece and the info about it are of serious interest to any lovers of ethnic jewellery, and (b) there are various things offered on this site, one way or another, including even through "vividvault" to which we are very clearly referred whenever we visit here. As you know, I am not looking for pieces to buy - but I DO read your info. I expect that in the main headline, and "Tags", I think, normally would go unread, or hardly taken in. So, if you don't mind advice, UNEQUIVOCALLY AND CLEARLY state that your piece is for sale, at the end of your description, IN CAPITALS.

  • Ok will take your advice.  I tried to list pieces on vivid tonight and the sight stopped for me while posting. I only got 8 off. I can no longer access it. I think it is down ?
