  • That's a very nice set - and of very good early age. Compare your pieces with each other, and you'll see, if you do so closely, that they actually cover quite a stretch, in time. This is in all respects to my mind one of your best pieces.

  • I'd say 80-100 years, and possibly more. These, I think, are of the kind that as a collector (if you do want to collect seriously) you SHOULD buy. A good choice. Compare the workmanship, deep patina, etc with the rather superficial - not deeply traditional - Turkoman pieces that I classify as "commercial" only (i.e. for wear only): a world of difference. Hold them closely together, and compare them in detailed fashion.
