  • these are beautiful!  Where do they come from and what are they called?

  • These are Venetian glass beads with adventuring, the adventuring is the golden shimmer.
    Circa 1930.
  • At the risk of seeming pedantic, Sarah, might I gently point out that the word is "aventurine"? I add that the sensation of looking at these very attractive beads does give one a sense of "adventuring" as well. A Freudian slip?
