  • Beautiful ornament, after cleaning it looks almost like new. I love the filigree work on top. Impressive

  • Dear Lynn; This is very beautiful! Congratulations! Peter
  •  Impressive piece Lynn. Very intense with its little but solid linked chains.

  • Very neat backside work.

  • Thank you Mustafa, Peter, and Ingrid.  This piece shows why I am drawn to Bulgarian and Ottoman pieces in general... it's the opulence of the work.

  • A lovely piece and stunning before and after effect!

  • Lynn, your hard work has been well rewarded! A lovely piece. And only rarely found in silver gilt.

  • Thank you Betty and Frankie.  I believe the silver is the typical 40% or so material, but it is lovely nonetheless.

  • I spent some time researching the coins today.  They are from 1773-1780, 1 para coins from the Ottoman empire.  This probably dates the ornament as early 19th century.
