  • It literally is quite the museum piece.  Harvard Peabody Museum.  My friend used to work in collections and got to handle and photograph all of these items, from all over too!  What a job....

  • Yes, it is in the museum, but I'm unsure if it is actually on display or not.  The Harvard Peabody Museum has a wonderful catalog of photographs of ethnic items from all over the world.  My friend worked there and she took many of the photos.  It is a lovely piece as well as many others.   I'll try to locate the website and post it.

  • nice piece, sorry for disturbing, i think it is not from great kabylie. if it is real coral then east algeria. annaba, el kala ,the aures mountains throw there until west tunisia.

    this mix is made in ghardaia by mzab too. specialy because of the cloves
