The name for this type of earring is "swinging leaves of gold". These are the large type without hanging strips of gold from the lower portion of the earrings.

  • This is a popular type, probably from Flores, worn by the Nage people. For the type which does feature hanging strips of gold please see *Ethnic Jewellery and Adornment* (by Truus Daalder), p. 195.
