Did you mean that these beauties coul date back to Gandhara (greek influenced) culture?
That would make them highly desirable museul pieces!!
Though i have a gut feeling of some early persian or/and islamic influence!
The coulour of the garnets are incredible
I purchased them to be ancient, i'm still investigating. I have had several Gandaran, and Etruscan pieces in the past but since I have not handled them in so long or enough I am still not 100% about these yet. My gut is about 90% that they are correct. I have seen fakes and they look fake pieces and they look fake, to me these don't . They have a burial surface here and there but have been cleaned and the garnets look as if they are like those that have been buried. I'm hoping I can show them to some one to find out for sure. They would be 2nd -4th c if old.
