these were as common as hens teeth years ago but obvioulsy from what I have been told not now.
Yes, if anything one saw too much Indian silver of this kind years ago - but not any more. The quality was never the problem, I felt, but there were too many, and often too heavy, both in weight and in a visual way. Now, this does stand out, and as so many pieces these days are so disappointing and one can look at this completely on its own rather than as part of a lot of clutter, it stands out as truly attractive.
